Ibn Serendib is a native English speaker, and a citizen of Sri Lanka. He is a resident in his home country for part of the year, and is born to the blessed Muslim community of the island.

The “Serendib Nesan” was started in 2017 as an English language digest on current social affairs concerning the Sri Lankan Muslim community. With the rise of English as the preferred language of his community, Ibn Serendib hopes that this publication will provide the “new age reader” a stream of interesting posts, to stimulate thought and widen your perspective.

This publication is not a news website by any means, so therefore the facts and figures presented are to the best knowledge of Ibn Serendib, and presented as it has influenced him.
